Ian has over 10 years media experience and is currently the Vice President of Strategic Relationships for Crowdtap, a social media start up based in NYC that helps brands collaborate with their customers to build advocacy and gather insights. Crowdtap was just named one of the Forbes 100 Most Promising Companies of 2013 and won the Mashable Award for Up and Coming Social Media Service of 2011. Crowdtap works with over 50 Fortune 100 brands including AT&T, Kia, Verizon, Nestle, Ikea, NBC Universal, Old Navy, American Express, Mastercard and many others.
Prior to joining Crowdtap Ian has worked with branded content as the National Director on TMZ.com (owned by AOL), behavioral targeting at the ad network that created it, TACODA (purchased by AOL for $275MM in 2008), e-commerce when he built a sales team and oversaw corporate partnerships for Marketsharing, and experiential marketing as the Vice President Sales at Show Media which was named one of the Inc 500 fastest growing US companies 2 years in a row during his time there.
