As VP of online media and digital strategy at Empower, Ryan Derrow currently manages a team of 25 strategy, media, and search specialists, ensuring clients' online investments are targeted and generate results.

A self-proclaimed "data geek," Derrow has a passion for the challenges and opportunities that exist within our digital world. In 2012, he built Empower's internal programmatic buying solution, ClearTradesm, as the next evolution of the fragmented agency trading-desk model of the late 2000s. At Empower, Derrow has also played a lead role with clients across a wide variety of categories. His client roster includes Long John Silver's, Michaels Arts and Crafts, Famous Footwear, Sharpie®, and Rust-Oleum.


Prior to joining Empower, Derrow worked for Nielsen BASES as an analyst and client consultant. In his free time, he plays a leadership role with Habitat for Humanity.
