Julia Mavrodin spent the early part of her career with Toyota Motor Sales as a district sales manager before transitioning to a project manager position with Huge, a digital advertising agency specializing in user experience and design. At Huge, Mavrodin managed the digital initiatives of such Fortune 500 companies as Google, American Express, and Lowe's Home Improvement.
In 2013, Mavrodin joined L'Oreal's Luxe division as manager, interactive marketing, to oversee the website build and development of a new start-up brand co-created with Michelle Phan, YouTube's No. 1 beauty guru. The em michelle phan makeup line, launched in August 2013, is the first digitally-based makeup brand for L'Oreal, solely distributed through ecommerce channels.
Today, Mavrodin is director of digital marketing, responsible for all digital operations, including site enhancements, content management/merchandising, and customer relations marketing. Only one year old, em michelle phan has a steadily growing customer base, a highly engaged fan following, and strong product reviews.
