Allan Johnson is the Content Strategist at Sharethrough, a branded video content distribution company. Allan has worked across the advertising industry at Ogilvy & Mather and BBDO in NY and at TBWA/Chiat Day and Deutsch in LA. Before joining Sharethrough, he was the Director of Custom Content at UM, SF where his role was to deliver creative, innovative and measurably effective marketing programs in the form of branded content (both online and offline), branded integration, sponsorship and experiential marketing to UM?s media business His clients have included IBM, HBO, ABC, DirecTV and Microsoft.
Allan has also worked in Film and TV production and development with credits including Moneyball, Haywire and 30 Days. His background across the advertising and entertainment industries allows him to easily shift his focus between media, creative and production, often working as a bridge between all three.
Allan graduated from Duke with a BA in English and Economics.
