Erik Johnson is the Head of Sales for Asia Pacific at Facebook, where he leads the regional sales team focused on providing marketing solutions to help the region’s top businesses and agencies be successful on Facebook.

Prior to Facebook, Erik spent twelve years at Microsoft, most recently as the General Manager of the Consumer and Online Business in Greater China, where he oversaw the end to end online business and all consumer facing marketing for the region.  

Earlier in his career, Erik managed the MSN business development teams for Europe and Asia, where he oversaw the strategy and the creation of partnerships, both to enrich MSN services through media/content relationships and to bring them to market via distribution channels such as telephony, cable companies, and wireless carriers. 

Erik has previously worked at US West New Vector Group as an M&A analyst after which he held a variety of consulting jobs working on network architecture and financial modeling.

Erik holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from Lewis and Clarke College and a master's degree in law and diplomacy from The Fletcher School.
