Kevin Browne is responsible for two developing businesses. First, he is working to enable advertising on Xbox, so gamers will get better quality products and more options, and publishers will be able to improve their business results. Second, Browne leads the effort to license Microsoft Game Studios’ IP – working with partners like Tor, WizKids and McFarlane on Halo, and with 4Kids Entertainment on Viva Piñata. Browne has been at Microsoft for over 16 years. Prior to this role, Browne ran a game studio, led the Macintosh Business Unit making Office and IE for Mac, and worked as a product planner on Microsoft Excel.

Before Microsoft, Browne proudly served as an Armor officer in the United States Army.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame.
