As SVP of Media at DigitasLBi, Scott Marsden leads the American Express media business, which was recently honored with Adweek’s Media Plan of the Year award for Best Use of Insights for its “Everyday Genius” campaign. Scott also serves as the media capability lead for New York, overseeing a team of more than 100 media specialists. Scott’s extensive career includes numerous branding and direct-response initiatives with an emphasis on developing integrated and creative media programs spanning consumer and enterprise technology, banking, finance, travel, spirits, sports, and consumer packaged goods sectors. Prior to joining DigitasLBi in 2013, Scott worked at Initiative, where he led their digital division for MillerCoors, Hasbro, and USAA; at True Action Network, where he served as VP, Marketing Director; and at OMD and Ogilvy, where he led innovative digital strategies and creative media programs for such major brands as Frito-Lay, Absolut Vodka, GE, Lowe’s, the NFL, Bank of America, Visa, Yahoo!, Motorola, and IBM.
