Ian Cohen joined iProspect in May 2012 as EVP, East Coast, and is responsible for executive leadership of the New York and Boston offices. In his role, Ian oversees all operations, client strategy, employee growth and client development initiatives while leading all client service teams in delivering impactful business results and superior client service.
Prior to joining iProspect, Ian was the VP, Business Development for Meredith Xcelerated Marketing (MXM) and served as a member of the executive team where he built new and innovative growth strategies to help grow the MXM business.
Ian has worked at many leading advertising, branding and digital agencies including Gyro New York where he spearheaded the growth of the New York office into one of the leading offices within Gyro’s global network. He has also worked for leading agencies including FCB New York, TBWA Chiat/Day, Artustry Partnership and McDevitt Group where he was responsible for leading the client services departments and growth initiatives. He has over 18 years of experience managing brand challengers with limited budgets as well as overseeing multi-million dollar accounts for well-known clients such as Virgin Atlantic, ITT, GE, Kraft Foods, The Jamaica and British Virgin Islands Tourist Boards, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, FILA, New York Life, Disney Tele-ventures, Texaco and many others.
Excelling at multiple industry roles in his career, including General Manager, Director of Client Services, Executive Producer, Managing Director, and Media Planner, he has earned a well-deserved reputation as the “guy who gets things done.”
Ian earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Marketing from Rider University. He is married with 2 children and is an avid sports enthusiast, always trying to perfect his golf swing and putting stroke.
