David Deal joined iCrossing in 2011 to build the agency's brand through thought leadership, social media, and influencer outreach. David publishes and writes for two company blogs, the Content Lab and Great Finds, in addition to his own, Superhype (which is ranked among the Top 100 content marketing blogs). In February 2012, David and Music Mogul Jermaine Dupri created an innovative relationship for iCrossing to help build a connected brand for Jermaine's fast-growing Global 14 social media site. David has been living in the intersection of entertainment, content, and marketing for his entire career. He edited "You Say You Want a Revolution: Rock Music in American Culture," by Robert Pielke. He also helped develop "Angels Dance and Angels Die: The Tragic Romance of Pamela and Jim Morrison," by Patricia Butler. David has spoken at events such as the Forrester Research eBusiness Forum, and he contributes to publications such as PSFK and American Express OPEN FORUM.
