As SVP and general manager of women’s content and lifestyle brands, Maureen Sullivan is one of the key leaders at AOL, developing brands that serve women by delivering captivating experiences across the lifestyle category. Sullivan is engaged in building out a portfolio of women’s properties, including StyleList, Kitchen Daily, Homesessive, StyleMePretty and MAKERS. Sullivan is a proven expert, building brands and innovating in the women’s content and lifestyle space.
Previously, Sullivan was SVP of brand, marketing and communications at AOL. In this role, she oversaw the global brand development and led the global rebranding of AOL. Sullivan developed the creative elements of the AOL brand, including the AOL brand identity and creation of the AOL Artists program. Sullivan managed consumer marketing initiatives, media investments, sponsorships, partnerships and corporate events. She also oversaw all elements of integrated communications including public relations and internal communications. Sullivan was responsible for the company’s CSR practices including the development of AOL Impact.
Prior to AOL, Sullivan served as chief of staff for Tim Armstrong at Google, where she managed partnership development and business planning. Sullivan graduated magna cum laude from Stanford University. She serves on the board of the non-profit, Network For Good.
