As VP of social marketing, Alex Jacobs delivers innovative social solutions for a wide range of Digitas clients, including Taco Bell, eBay, and more. In this role, he also leads the social practice in Digitas' San Francisco office, and consults with clients throughout North America.
A respected industry leader, Jacobs' work has been honored at some of advertising's biggest events, including the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, New York Festivals, the CLIO Awards, the Effies, and IAB MIXX. His vast social marketing experience includes the strategy, planning, and execution of social marketing campaigns across numerous industries, including financial services, B2B, CPG, QSR, ecommerce, publishing, and nonprofits.
Prior to joining Digitas, Jacobs worked at TracyLocke, where he led PepsiCo's NFL, MLB, and MLS sponsorship initiatives. In 2008, he co-founded the nonprofit Glassbooth, which was rated best political website of the year by C-Net and PC Magazine, and is dedicated to empowering individuals to make more informed voting decisions.
