Richard Robbins is a wireless veteran responsible for creating and marketing innovative mobile entertainment services for AT&T (formerly Cingular). Partnering with HBO, Robbins and AT&T have created HBO Mobile, a mobile experience with the leading premium network encompassing video, ringtones, games, answer tones, graphics and WAP content to wireless phones. He is also working to develop unique programming for the AT&T launch of MediaFlo in Q4 ’07 as well as other media and entertainment products. Robbins’ previous experience at AT&T Wireless included Distribution Strategy, Brand Management, Voice Offer Development, Sponsorship and Field Marketing.
Prior to joining AT&T, Robbins worked in eentertainment marketing/sponsorship at Festival Marketing and EMCI for clients such as American Express, Guiness and HBO, where he led the American Express Gold Card Events program, providing American Express with a unique, differentiating cardmember benefit while providing new audiences for live entertainment events.
Robbins received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from TuftsUniversity and his MBA in Marketing from ColumbiaBusinessSchool.
