Lee Doyle was appointed to the newly created role of president, client development for Mindshare North America in May 2012. He is tasked with broadening and deepening senior client relationships along with business development efforts at the agency. Mindshare’s clients include American Express, BP, Boehringer-Ingelheim, HSBC, IBM, Kimberly-Clark, Land Rover-Jaguar, LG Electronics, Lionsgate, Motorola and Unilever.
Prior to his current position, Doyle spent the last 12 years at MEC, a leading media investment management agency and a founding partner of GroupM. He served as CEO, North America for MEC from 2007 to 2011. During his tenure as CEO, the agency grew by more than 40 percent and was named Media Agency of the Year twice by both Advertising Age and Adweek. Prior to assuming the role of CEO, Doyle was head of media planning and client services at the agency and served as client leader on the AT&T and Paramount Pictures assignments.
Doyle’s career highlights include providing media insights and developing media strategies for some of the biggest, most sophisticated marketers in the U.S., including Burger King, Campbell’s, Colgate, Dell Computers, General Motors, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft, Macy’s, Netflix, Novartis and Procter & Gamble (in addition to those listed above). In 2008, he was named a “Media Maven” by Advertising Age and was awarded the Impact Award by AWNY in 2011. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences such the AAAA, ARF, ad:tech, iMedia, Advertising Week, Digital Hollywood and others.
