Following its acquisition by Akamai Technologies, he led the company's foray into advertising. He held senior management positions at Microsoft, globally overseeing revenue strategy and yield management at MSN. Hinton has also led several senior database and direct marketing positions at AT&T Wireless, Foote, Cone & Belding, and McCaw Cellular.
