Simon Bond is the CMO of BBDO and Proximity Worldwide. Bond has worked at BBDO for over 13 years and has helped establish the company's digital operations in Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Asia Pacific, and now North America.
He spent the first 10 years with BBDO living in London, Paris, Dubai, Singapore, and Japan, and is now based in New York, responsible for driving innovation and business development across BBDO's international client base and exploring new ways to expand and grow the network globally.
Bond is as seasoned global marketer and has been heavily engaged in building global brands like P&G, Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, Campbell's, and Mars, and advising them on their global digital, social, and mobile strategies.
In order to drive new thinking across the global network, Bond established BBDO's innovation and thought leadership initiative called the Digital Lab, which is a best-in-class education and inspiration center housed with the agency. The Digital Lab ensures all BBDO clients, staff, and agency partners are on the cusp of change and innovation and understand how to embrace the new opportunities within the digital ecosystem.
Outside of his business interests, Bond has a huge passion for sport. He is a sub-three-hour marathon man and loves nothing more than escaping and taking motorbike trips to far corners of the world.
