David Aglar is a digital strategist and senior leader in Weber Shandwick's digital communications practice. He has been instrumental in building the digital creative capacity that has transformed Weber Shandwick and established it as the only PR firm on the AdAge Agency A-List the past two years.

As EVP, digital consumer in New York, Aglar leads digital consumer client relationships, as well as developing teams in New York and other markets to support multi-national assignments for the consumer brand portfolio.

He oversees the full portfolio of digital and creative consumer work in New York City, including Electrolux/Frigidaire, Mattel, and Intercontinental Hotel Group. He is also the global account leader for the Unilever business covering 16 assignments on three continents, including food brands like Hellmann's mayonnaise and personal care brands such as Degree deodorant.

Aglar serves as a senior advisor to Unilever to inform creative and media planning best practices and continues to lead in the rapidly involving social and digital space. His work is focused on driving innovation in key digital and social areas such as creative development, content strategy, user experience design, data/analytics, and integration between digital creative paid media planning and buying.

Recent work highlights feature leading the launch of Unilever's Project Sunlight in the U.S., along with several real-time social activations such as Degree Men's NCAA March Madness and the Hellmann's mayonnaise #BringOutTheBest campaign.

Prior to his Unilever role, Aglar lead the PepsiCo global digital team as its global agency of record. He established the PepsiCo global digital playbook in the U.S. market and cascaded it for implementation across 27 global markets, breaking many firsts along the way, including partnering with PepsiCo and Fast Company to live stream the keynote addresses from SXSW for the first time ever.

A depth of digital experience for major brands led to these appointments. Aglar has overseen everything from the design and development of new websites for Unilever USA to the creation and promotion of new social platforms like the American Airlines WiFi widget and the General Motors Cadillac blog. Aglar's honors include a Silver Addy Award for Best Video Series and a PRWeek Digital Award for Global Campaign of the Year, among others.

Aglar is a cum laude graduate of Western State College in Colorado and holds a degree in business administration with a focus in entrepreneurialism.
