Brett Steiger has helped build and reinvigorate brands across the CPG, retail, ecommerce, and financial industries. Brand Innovators named Steiger a "40 under 40" brand marketer in 2014. As head of brand marketing at Travelocity, Steiger is responsible for brand strategy, consumer research, Roaming Gnome social and content strategy, and the Travelocity licensing business. Steiger launched Travelocity's Go & Smell the Roses brand campaign in 2013, and has helped reinvigorate the whimsical and inspirational Travelocity Roaming Gnome, driving YOY growth for the business and helping Travelocity compete in the very competitive OTA space.
Before joining Travelocity, Steiger worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group, where he helped to build and grow brands such as Snapple, Hawaiian Punch, IBC Root Beer, YooHoo, Mr. & Mrs. T Bloody Mary Mix, and Rose's, while also working directly with key retailers to build their brands. Prior to this role, Steiger worked at IBM, where he managed $200 million in mortgage cash flow models for the Federal Housing Administration, helping the government provide housing solutions for millions of Americans.
Steiger received his MBA from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and is also a graduate of The University of Virginia. Steiger loves to travel and wants to go back to Italy, where he enjoyed an amazing honeymoon with his beautiful wife, Andrea. The couple recently had their first child, Dylan, who is nine months old and counting, and is as cute as can be.
