Prior to joining MDAS in 2006, Richard was the regional director at BusinessWeek, Singapore, where he lead the team to consistently exceeded revenue targets, making the region one of the most successful in the BusinessWeek organization. Richard successfully identified brand extension opportunities including FashionWeek Asia, developing new revenue streams, exceeding targets and becoming profitable by its second issue.
As international sales manager at Time Magazine, Richard built and led a team which returned two consecutive years of record revenues. Core to his role at Time was maximizing cross media sales initiatives with sister companies CNN and Fortune Magazine, establishing the first European integrated media packages.
Richard has been involved in multiple non-profit organizations and fund raising for local and international charities, spearheading Earth Hour in Singapore and Thailand and managing England's World Cup winning rugby captain, Martin Johnson's, testimonial activities in support of Singapore's Rainbow Centre.
He lives in Singapore with his wife and two children.
