Greenberg recently conducted a social media contest where contestants were asked to update their status in 140 characters or less on Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter for the chance to win trips, cash, and more than $100,000 in prizes. He also shepherded social campaigns with skateboarder Billy Marks and was one of the first brand advertisers to work with YouTube, going out on a limb and pushing the brand boundaries of TurboTax by hiring Vanilla Ice and encouraging consumers to rap about taxes.

Greenberg brings an unusual approach to marketing, and is a highly creative collaborator with his agency and publisher partners. Earlier in his career, Seth actually made a living from winning over $140,000 in a year devoted to winning radio contests, which may be indicative of his ability to learn fast and iterate for success.

Greenberg went to film school at Loyola Marymount, attended graduate school at the American Film Institute and worked his way up the Hollywood system in the mailroom at some of the largest talent agencies to become a motion picture and TV literary agent. In the mid-1990s, he made a career shift to new media, honing his skills in SEO and more. He currently sits on the customer advisory boards of DoubleClick, Commission Junction, and Hitwise.

This is well deserved - Seth gave a presentation at the last Brand Summit MOM on all the cool things that Inuit and TurboTax has done in the social space...all very gutsy, innovative and in many ways brillant.
