David Crow's contributions to the digital world are varied and far-reaching. His passion is to help startups with product and marketing strategy. As such, he was the co-founder and community animator of StartupNorth, where he blogs about Canadian startups. He has also served as host for DemoCamp, an event that showcases product demos for entrepreneurs, developers, and marketers. Crow has also enabled connections within Founders & Funders, a dinner meeting that brings together the people who start high potential companies with the people who fund them; he was named Toronto's Best Web and Tech Evangelist for his efforts.

David is the bridge between the startup community and Microsoft. Working with emerging technologists and upcoming companies, David is an honest voice and outspoken critic of the marketing ecosystem, as well as a friendly face to a giant corporation."

His work doesn't stop there, though. He recently co-founded Influitive,  a platform for automating referral marketing processes. Prior to founding Influitive, Crow was a platform strategy advisor at Microsoft Canada, Inc. He was responsible for helping Canadian startups gain access to software, support, and visibility through programs like BizSpark.

Crow received a Master's in human-computer interaction from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, and an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo.
