Flightpath's Profile

Flightpath

New York

You hear a lot about insights these days -- most of it hype -- but Flightpath's Insights blog really lives up to its name. First and foremost, the agency actually leads the conversation by going to the trouble of creating original content for the blog. For example, it has an interview with Fastball and its co-lead singer, Tony Scalzo, about his decision to produce the band's next album with a little help from the Kickstarter community. And then there's "Facebook Friday," which gives a breakdown of a campaign currently running on Facebook, sharing insights on what worked and where the campaign fell short.

Of course, Flightpath isn't just about its blog. The agency actually specializes in using digital to create an emotional connection between the brand and the user.

Tapping into a little bit of nostalgia, Flightpath combined the imagery of Snoopy and the power of an iPhone to build a branded app that helps users of HomeAgain (a pet microchipping service) track their lost animals.

The agency leveraged that same emotional skill set working for The Daily, a new iPad-only newspaper. Flightpath provided layout, production, and design support for the media outlet that captures the traditional print experience of flipping through the morning paper, but which adds the kind of depth digital excels at.

Flightpath lands in New York.
