Phenomblue's Profile

Phenomblue

Omaha, Neb.

A lot of agencies play lip service to the idea of solutions. Not Phenomblue. Like any agency that has tried to build a mobile app, it faced a tough choice right out of the gate -- Android or iPhone? Sure, you can always build separate apps for each -- and that's what most agencies do. But everyone working in mobile is waiting for the day when one app works across all platforms. That day may still be a long way off, but Phenomblue clearly isn't waiting around for someone else to crack the code. Instead, the agency put some time into a worthwhile experiment and produced a casual gaming app that ran on both platforms from the same code base. And just to show off the agency's sense of humor, it was called "Zombie Christmas."

Putting some of its coding knowledge to good work on behalf of Office Max, Phenomblue designed a Facebook app to help the brand connect with students heading back to school. By integrating (visualizing) Facebook data that included invites, photos, tags, events, and comments, the app helped students answer that classic question: "How did you spend your summer vacation?"

Recently the agency created a fun Facebook app for Tums that lets users hurl food at pictures of their friends in a virtual food fight.

Phenomblue has also worked for Diet Coke, Kraft, and Red Robin. The agency is headquartered in Omaha, Neb., with an additional office in Santa Monica, Calif.
