Chloe Hampton describes herself as "a passionate mobile strategist with a lean toward technology." And that passion is certainly serving her well in her role as associate director of mobile strategy and services for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
Hampton says her proudest professional achievement over the past year has been the launch of the new SPG App for iPhone. "This app is among the first ever to be state aware -- that is, it transitions with our guests as they travel through their journeys with Starwood," she says. "It's been a game-changer, not only for our members and guests, but also for the travel industry."
Hampton led the vision, the effort, and the team to get the SPG App into market. "The most satisfying part about having launched this caliber of app is having users come up to me and share their detailed interactions with the app," she says. "The improvement to their travel experience brought to life by this app is the most gratifying part of all." Most recently, the SPG App has been developed and deployed for Android.
Prior to joining Starwood in 2007, Hampton was a senior project manager at Action Online Technologies, where she handled new business development and account management for more than 400 different clients worldwide.
