Small in size and prestigious, The VIA Agency is that rare independent shop that has equally strong traditional and digital chops. But then again, with the motto "when ideas come from all directions, business does too" it's not surprising that VIA isn't bogged down by silos.
Building on its TV relationship with Klondike (you may recall the "5 Seconds to Glory" campaign that revitalized the famous "What Would You Do For A Klondike Bar?"), The VIA Agency created "The Flavor Chamber," a compelling digital asset that satisfies the web's insatiable appetite for geeky content while fulfilling the brand's goal of further educating the next generation of consumers about the tasty frozen treat. Inside "The Flavor Chamber," users can select from a number of destructive tools (think baseball bat, wood chipper, and a chainsaw) that can be used to break apart Klondike products. The content is both strangely captivating and informative insofar as users get to see exactly what's inside their dessert.
To help Samsung gets users' attention on the web, The VIA Agency found a new take on an old idea by reinventing the banner ad for a campaign called "Slurp." When users interact with the ad, it literally "slurps" away the website they were on, revealing a slick Samsung landing page.
The VIA Agency has worked with Discover, The Salvation Army, and Welch's, to name a few.
