Executive summary
Let's Gift It eliminates the group gift organizer's pain of procuring the gift, inviting contributors, managing IOUs, and awkward collection of money from friends, family, and coworkers.
At the same time, online retailers are working to sell more products and acquire new customers. The capability for a retailer to tap into the collective purchasing power of a group is an emerging trend in online retail. The challenge here is that very little exists in the virtual market to enrich and power the social gifting experience leaving money on the table.
Let's Gift It developed a consumer web and Facebook application that facilitates the creation of a group gift, contributor management, fund collection, and gift procurement. Group gifting with Lets Gift It is simple: create, invite, and contribute.
We developed a platform for social gifting, enabling online retailers the capability to allow multiple contributions towards high ticket items on their registry, wish-list and product pages. By socializing the buying experience and lowering perceived price points for high ticket/high margin products, we help online retailers generate incremental revenue and increase average order value by allowing people to buy who previously wouldn't have had money to do so.
Let's Gift It is comprised of a highly experienced and successful executive and technological team with a distinguished history of building startups and transforming large companies like Yahoo.
