Is it an ad agency or a technology company? At Razorfish, it's a little of both. As ad agencies change with the times, many agencies are developing proprietary technology to help their clients meet any number of business needs. But this year, Razorfish turned heads and earned headlines with Fluent, a digital marketing technology platform that provides marketers and agencies with a single, integrated software application to create, target, measure, and manage multi-channel digital campaigns.
Fluent is deployed via Software as a Service (SaaS), allowing clients to quickly go to market with their digital marketing without heavy upfront investments. But more than that, the Fluent platform allows brands to sort and manage their own data and quickly align it with their marketing efforts across multiple platforms, which means Fluent is a tool well-suited to a world dominated by big data.
Razorfish veteran Drew Kurth leads the agency's cloud-computing unit out of the agency's New York office. So far, more than 20 Razorfish clients have begun using Fluent.
