SUMMARY OF POSITION
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Social Media Marketing for the Web Sales department. The Manager, Social Media is responsible for devising a leading, cutting-edgesocial media strategy in support of all key brands within Warner Bros. Advanced Digital Services’ Client portfolios. Position will oversee a mix of long-term client campaigns and shorter term projects across various social media platforms including but not limited to: FaceBook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, and others. Position is expected to analyze and track campaign success against client goals, benchmark results against client competitors and provide ongoing strategic recommendations to the client. Responsible to work directly with WBADS clients and internal teams to manage custom third party technology integrations as well as mentor junior social media staff. This position will work closely with WBADS client marketing leads and senior management to develop and maintain social media strategies that yield maximum ROI and other key campaign performance measurements. The ideal candidate will also understand how to effectively manage social media and internet communities to generate consumer engagement, brand interaction and conversion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive execution of social media strategies across multiple social platforms in support of WBADS client campaigns, Corporate Communications and Direct to Consumer initiatives.
- Develop and maintain effective social media tactics, strategies and best practices and communicate to WBADS clients and WBE counterparts.
- Track and monitor the effectiveness of social initiatives (i.e. reach, engagement, , conversion), and oversee development and distribution of reports to clients and senior management.
- Educate and manage staff around the implementation of new social media tactics, trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with WBADS digital marketing partners to adjust social media strategies based on technological opportunities and business changes.
- Evolve social media campaign metrics around social media campaign executions demonstrating ROI tied to ADS client business’ goals.
- Work closely with legal counterparts to develop and ensure adherence to, corporate rules and guidelines around social media marketing.
- Identify and integrate emerging social media technologies and trends to support continuing
growth of ADS social media offering and educate client and WBE marketing counterparts.
- Identify and build relationships with social media brand advocates, fan/group partners
to provide extension to ADS Digital Marketing campaigns.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working in digital marketing and social media marketing preferred. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Experience using and communicating in social networks, blogs, and content sharing communities including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc.
- Experience creating and executing a social media strategy that builds fan base, increases engagement and drives conversion.
- Demonstrated knowledge of how to maintain and grow a social media presence across an array of networks and technologies; strong understanding within a broader marketing mix.
- Knowledge of social media analytics platforms including Facebook Insights, Tweetreach, and Word of Mouth listening services preferred.
- Agency experience a plus.
- Must be a “self-starter” as well as work in a group project environment.
- Must be able to organize and schedule a high workload efficiently.
- Must have flexible and friendly personality to interface closely with internal staff and ADS clients.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others (staff, management, clients, vendors, etc.).
- Must be able to understand client and user needs and translate them into a social media platform environment.
- Must have excellent communication & organizational skills.
- Background in digital marketing, community development and management highly desirable.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to foster cross functional relationships toward achieving a unified goal.
