Primary Characteristics
Manage the strategic planning, development, delivery and analysis of direct marketing programs that drive growth from the current customer base.

Essential Functions
• Responsible for company-wide customer segmentation strategy development including leading the direction to extract and analyze customer data to develop corporate marketing strategy
• Manage staff including providing direction of segmentation marketing projects and implementation of marketing campaigns
• Develop strategy, manage implementation and measure results of lifecycle-based retention, relationship deepening/cross-sell and at-risk customer programs
• Effectively utilize a variety of marketing channels including e-mail, direct mail, website and call center to deliver optimal retention and growth within the customer base
• Accurately assess the success/net impact of direct marketing programs through thoughtful test plans that deliver statistically valid results and drive optimization. Present results in a clear and organized manner and translate data-driven learning's into actionable next steps.
• Develop and manage customer segmentation, modeling and ROI analysis to optimize marketing activities and increase impact
• Effectively partner and collaborate with cross-functional resources including partners from product management, operations, call center, analytics and creative services to drive results through successful end-to-end campaign planning and execution
• Manage multi-line budget to ensure effective and efficient spending within the channel
• Develop comprehensive annual marketing plan, including strategies, programs, campaigns and budget

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Requirements)
• Detailed-orientated, hands-on approach with strong project management and prioritization skills; must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining excellent and accurate work
• Practical experience with test design, response models, database segmentation, list criteria and outcome evaluation/results reporting
• Highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing, editing, and presentation abilities.
• Able to travel 2-3 days per month and to work independently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

Training and Experience
• 5+ years of direct and/or customer relationship marketing experience
• 5+ years of experience marketing segmentation experience preferred
• 4-year college degree from an accredited college preferred
• Financial services experience strongly preferred
• Experience in the mortgage and/or financial services industry preferred
