National Geographic Channel’s Global Marketing team is seeking a Creative and Consumer Marketing Director to develop strategic, creative, and marketing plans to drive brand and content awareness for National Geographic Channels International brands. The Director will lead the development of marketing campaigns for key priority programs from project inception, contract and ideation to production and delivery as well as collaborate with the DC and London based locations to sustain, promote and increase the economies of scale between offices. The position will partner with the Programming and Production departments to build the best tools for international and regional promotion.
Position requirements include a Bachelor's or equivalent degree. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in marketing field, with a minimum of five (5) years global marketing focus. Experience in media industry required, with preference given to television/network marketing experience.
Required knowledge and skills include an excellent understanding of international markets. Experience with all types of marketing media and media integration. Excellent project management skills with experience leading projects from concept to delivery. Proficiency with Mac and basic knowledge with of relevant graphic, audio, video programs.
