Position Summary:
 
We're obsessed with bringing significant value to our media clients.  Coupons.com is transforming the advertising & promotions industry and you will be helping us lead the charge.  This role will be focused on working with some of the most exciting brands in the world.

Coupons.com is looking for a Midwest based Media Sales Director to build relationships with digital advertising agencies. The Media Sales Director will report to our VP of Media Sales. We are looking for a self-starter who has strong agency & client relationships. Familiarity with other Midwest markets, CPG, Pharma, Restaurant, and Retail verticals is also a plus. Position Responsibilities: 

  • Capture significant media budgets as well as raise media planners/buyers awareness of the Coupons.com value proposition
  • Demonstrate the value of Coupons.com’s audience and advertising platform
  • Demonstrate ability to leverage agency & client relationships to drive revenue
  • Directly manage a core list of strategic accounts
  • Assist our promotion sales force as a digital media subject matter expert and to drive media revenue from promotional budgets
  • Exceed quarterly team & individual revenue targets

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital media sales
  • Proven track record of media sales success
  • Broad network of contacts for Midwest digital advertising agencies and clients
  • Ability to develop senior level, performance-based relationships by identifying products/services and cross-sell opportunities that best meet the client’s needs
  • Self-motivated, creative, solutions oriented & results driven media sales executive
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills as well as the ability to remain focused and flexible during a rapidly evolving environment
  • BA/BS degree
