Solve Media is recruiting a strong advertising sales executive who will be responsible for creating aggressive advertising sales momentum within our NY Ad Sales territory.

This well-connected S/AE will initially be tasked with learning our business and closing strategic deals.   The candidate will then play a key role growing territory accounts and building on our already successful year over year growth.

 

Sales positions are considered key and coveted roles at Solve Media and report directly to the Vice President of National Advertising Sales.

Solve Media is considered the most powerful digital media branding platform by many fortune 500 advertisers.   Our TYPE-IN™ units are accessible to over 55MM consumers every month and live on top properties including Meredith sites, Ticketmaster, AOL.

The successful candidate will compliment Solve Media’s coveted reputation for offering clients the best service, meetings, proposals and advertising strategy in the digital marketplace.

 

About you, the ideal candidate:

You bring strong industry experience, a persistent and professional business attitude, online sales know-how, tested negotiating techniques and perhaps a sense of humor to the table.

Your Rolodex is important, your ability to grow a Rolodex for Solve Media is critical, and your ability to support a high volume of face-to-face time with clients and agencies is vital.  You are a motivated fearless ad sales executive and confident public speaker.  People love to work with you, and so do we. 

Additional responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining pre-existing accounts, aggressively generating new sales leads and opportunities, developing new agency and client relationships, preparing and presenting proposals, closing business and hitting sales goals are critical components to your success within this position.

Requirements:
-- A minimum of 3 years+ of online advertising sales experience
-- Preexisting relationships with media buying agencies and clients
-- Advanced skills in handling multiple opportunities at once, making sales calls, creating marketing materials, analyzing data, traffic and inventory, setting and meeting goals, time management, negotiating,
-- Expert at problem solving and decision making

-- Highly organized, self-motivated, ability to work independently but take direction when required, results-driven, responsible and gets along with others
-- Ability to travel when required

-- Proven success in initiating and maintaining sales relationships and closing business, building a solid client base and meeting and exceeding goals.

Compensation: Base salary and commissions, Competitive
