TiVo Inc. and BellSouth Corp. announced an agreement to co-market the TiVo Series 2 box and service alongside BellSouth FastAccess DSL. 

Through the agreement, select subscribers will receive special pricing on the TiVo box and service and will be able to schedule TV recordings from the computer. Another special feature utilizes TiVo's Home Media features, which allow users to receive broadband delivered video and view personal music and photos on the TV set. 

"TiVo is pleased to work with BellSouth. Together, we can turn DSL internet connection into a pipeline for video content delivered directly to the television," says Naveen Chopra, vice president of business development at TiVo.

Additionally, the two companies plan to offer initiatives to customers who subscribe to both services in the key Southeastern markets. Further marketing tactics were not disclosed.
