ESPN to Display Logos in Podcasts
ESPN will start featuring branded logos within select podcasts, MediaWeek.com reported.
The pictures, headshot or advertiser logo will appear on the screen of a user's MP3 player such as an iPod Video or on a computer.
ESPN says that five of their 18 podcasts will carry images, which include ad sponsorships. Advertisers who have signed up with the new ESPN image podcast service include Shell Corp., Progressive Direct and Coca-Cola, Inc.
