RSS Penetration Slow

Media Buyer Planner and Workplace Print Media reports that 2 percent of U.S. employees subscribe to RSS feeds and 9 percent know what an RSS feed is, reported KenRadio Broadcasting.

According to Jupiter Research only 8 percent of U.S. email marketers used RSS as of June 2006.

Jupiter also reported that email marketers showed more interest in the technology. Nearly a third (32 percent) of US marketers were either "interested" or "very interested" in advertising via RSS.
