46% Online Sales Reps. Seek New Jobs

Upstream Group conducted a survey that found most online sales representatives are satisfied with their current roles, but over half are actively seeking new jobs or are open to offers from other companies.

"The shortage of online sales talent is pretty well recognized at this point," Upstream Group President Doug Weaver and an iMedia contributor. "But this survey points to a quiet crisis in retention. Some of a site's best salespeople may be flight risks and management may not be seeing it."

Nearly one in four are quietly frustrated by a lack of growth in their sales careers, according to the study.
