AOL Names Ronald E. Grant as President

Time Warner's AOL unit has named Ronald E. Grant as president, reports the New York Times.

Grant was formerly senior vice president for operations at Time Warner and was part of the company's strategy to increase revenue at AOL.

Last week AOL named former NBC Universal TV COO Randy Falco as the new chairman and CEO of its AOL online unit replacing Jonathan F. Miller.

AOL also saw another resignation last week. Jason Calacanis, the firebrand blogger who started Weblogs Inc., resigned as GM of AOL's Netscape division.
