WeWin.com announced the launch of an incentive-based video sharing site which rewards visitors with prizes for viewing video clips uploaded by members.
The free and ad-supported site plans to add new features and new ways for its members to win.
"Since YouTube recently moved to the tenth most popular website ahead of eBay, Microsoft and Amazon, a lot of new players are hopping on the video bandwagon, so it's important that we carve out our niche quickly and efficiently," says Brian Carrozzi, Founder of WeWin.com. "WeWin.com is not just a carbon copy of the other video offerings. It's a completely new approach to the burgeoning online video marketplace, and the initial feedback we've received from our members has been tremendously positive."
In September AOL Inc. and the Associated Press released a study that found only one in five online video viewers have watched or downloaded a full-length movie or TV show. The report found that online viewers prefer to watch shorter format video.
