Wal-Mart Terminates DraftFCB
Wal-Mart has ended its relationship with Interpublic Group's DraftFCB, which formerly oversaw the $580 million account for the giant retailer, the New York Times reported.
Earlier this week two top marketing executives at Wal-Mart, Julie Roehm, senior VP-marketing communications and Steve Womack, vice president of marketing communications, had left the company.
It was said that Roehm tried to bring in an edgier, hip image for the traditional retailer with envelope-pushing ad campaigns.
Wal-Mart did not announce any plans for selecting a new agency.
