Yahoo! News is adding a new original programming endeavor to its lineup. The "Odd News Underground" will be the first venture launched by Yahoo since last September's debut of "Kevin Sites in the Hot Zone."

The light-hearted and satirical news show is meant to feature a singing news anchor, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

"This project will create an entirely new kind of news beat, so stay tuned…all I can say for now is that this reporter will leave you tapping your feet," Scott Moore, head of news and information for Yahoo, said in a statement.
