TNS Media Intelligence, which monitors three million brands worldwide across a multitude of media, including radio, print, internet, cinema and outdoors, today announced that it has purchased Cymfony, a market influence analytics company.
The acquisition integrates Cymfony's expertise in tracking and analyzing the intersection of traditional and social media, such as blogs and social networks, with TNS MI's current extensive suite of advertising and intelligence products.
Steven Fredericks, president and CEO of TNS Media Intelligence told iMedia that the combination of Cymfony's expertise with TNS' will provide agencies and advertisers a much broader perspective on how to use their marketing dollars, and how to bring about ROI in a capacity that has never existed before.
