Facebook Tells Users to Get Jobs
Facebook has entered the job market, adding a free classifieds section to its social networking site.
The move puts Facebook, which has 22 million active users -- most of whom are college-age -- into direct competition with the likes of Craigslist and traditional newspapers.
"We don't try to lock people up or take more of their time, but we try to provide them with easier ways to do the things they want to do on the internet," Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's founder, told The New York Times. "If we can provide people with efficient tools, they will use the site more."
