Blastro Delivers Scion to Hip-Hop Crowd

Blastro.com, a niche website for hip-hop and R&B enthusiasts, has launched a new campaign for Scion that will run across multiple sites.

"Our goal was to create unique campaigns that reinforced Scion's concepts of customization and urban cool," said Ben Davis, co-founder of Blastro. "Both of the ads on Streetfire and Block Savvy speak to self expression and give audiences a fun way to explore the Scion brand."

Working with Optimedia, Blastro helped Scion create campaign for niche social networking site Block Savvy that lets users create collages that can be placed on their profile pages.

For Streetfire.net, Blastro created a campaign that allows users to customize Scion cars with their own art and racing decals.

Blastro also created 5-second video pre-rolls for Automotive Rhythms, a site for urban auto enthusiast.
