"Family Guy" creator inks AdSense deal

"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane and Raven Symone, star of Disney's "That's So Raven" will distribute made-for-internet shorts through AdSense under the umbrella of a deal signed by Media Rights Capital and Google.

MacFarlane and Symone will each create original web content.

The programs will run across a network of sites that use Google's AdSense product. Each video will appear in a video box that the user must click to play. The box will contain banner and video ads.

"We feel this partnership answers the question of how best to reach viewers online, because the web is fragmented into millions and millions of viewing destinations," Asif Satchu, co-chief executive of Media Rights Capital, told The Associated Press.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
