HBO buys film made in Second Life
You know a cultural phenomenon has arrived when HBO comes calling. According to a recent Reuters report the subscription channel purchased the rights to "My Second Life: The video diaries of Molotov Alta," a short-form documentary series shot entirely inside the Second Life virtual world.
In true internet fashion, HBO will make the pilot available on YouTube. Each of the seven episodes will explore a different aspect of Second Life.
The film was made by Douglas Gayeton, who works for Millions of Us, an agency that specializes in virtual world marketing, public relations and advertising.
