Google drops rich media bombshell
Another day, another breakthrough from the people at Google. This time the search giant may have found a way to measure the effectiveness of rich media advertising, according to a Reuters report.
Google has been testing Gadget Ads, which can incorporate instantly updated data feeds, images, video and miniature websites into a single ad unit.
According to Christian Oestlien, a business product manager for Google Gadget Ads, the tool allows marketers to measure total interaction with the ad.
Gadget Ads is capable of working across all websites.
