Google tinkers with search results
In the ongoing search evolution, Google has a new entry in the form of tailored search results.
The program, which is in beta and open to only a few people, allows users to refine their search results by ranking each entry on the page. A blue up arrow icon will move the result higher on the page, while a blue "X" icon will delete the result the next time the same search terms are used. Users also can suggest a URL for improved search results.
A Google spokesman told CNET that the program remains part of continuing experiments to improve search.
