Executive casualties mount at Yahoo!

Things aren't going well at Yahoo! According to a report in All Things Digital, the internet giant continues to shed executives. The latest casualties are Rachel Glaser, an SVP of operations finance, and Bharath Kadaba, VP of media engineering.

"They're not saying it explicitly, but there just have been too many chiefs and not enough Indians," one person close to Yahoo told reporter Kara Swisher. "This is a continuing acknowledgment of that by this effort at streamlining the executive ranks."

Recently, Yahoo has lost (or announced the future departure of) Neil Budde, VP of Yahoo News, David Riemer, VP of marketing, and Jennifer Dulski, who ran shopping, travel, autos, real estate and local.

In June, shortly after founder Jerry Yang returned vowing to restore order to Yahoo, the company's head of sales, Wenda Harris Millard, left the company. To many, her departure signaled a changing of the guard. Since then, Yang and Sue Decker, the company's president, have set about to reorganize and streamline operations at Yahoo.
