Google has identity issues
In typical Google fashion, the search behemoth quietly released a new feature to its users: profile pages.
The Web Worker Daily wrote up a report on the new pages, warning readers not to have any great expectations about the new product.
The author Mike Gunderloy points out a number of problems, like the fact that "if you want to share your photo publicly, you're out of luck."
Google doesn't seem to give a pip about any of that. With the slew of new networking features the company has offered over the last few months alone, web users may no longer have to feel like cyber orphans.
If they latch on, Google may finally be poised to jump head first into the social networking arena.
