MTV wheels and deals on web

Viacom's MTV Networks has signed a slew of content deals to make videos available across the web.

MTV announced deals with Dailymotion, GoFish, iMeem, MeeVee and Veoh at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The content company also announced a deal with Comcast to make its videos available on the cable operator's broadband site.

"We're eager to get our content out there," Greg Clayman, MTV Networks executive vice president of digital distribution, told Reuters. "Our fans are already there."

While MTV is expanding its reach on the web, the company is also working to consolidate its internal digital operations in a bid to better organize its diverse collection of brands. Last month, MTV announced that it would unify brands that include Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and Spike TV under one umbrella.
