Post-Its stick to YouTube
The creative use of Post-It notes is a common practice for getting through the workday doldrums. Now, Post-It maker 3M has partnered with Google and YouTube on a video contest that will reward one person for the most original use of the sticky little notes.
Users can upload a two-minute video to youtube.com/postitnotes showing their unique use for the notes and walk away with $10,000 if they win. Every entrant will receive a free trial of Post-it Digital Notes for use on their computer.
Although YouTube has yet to prove itself as a viable at platform, more brands are using it to get the word out. In March, Toyota spent $4 million to launch a comedy channel to promote the new Corolla.
